 Chips de pommes de terre au four
Découvrez ces chips de pommes de terre maison qui vous feront oublier les chips industrielles trop salées, trop grasses et bourrées d'additifs. Cuites au four, elles sont juste croquantes et offrent un bon goût de pommes de terre!

  1. PRÉPARATION
  2. ÉTAPE 1
  3. Vous avez le choix d'éplucher vos pommes de terre ou bien de garder la peau pour leur donner un côté rustique mais vous devrez alors les laver pour enlever la terre.
  4. ÉTAPE 2
  5. Préparez un grand saladier rempli d'eau froide (attention, pas jusqu'en haut car les pommes de terre vont prendre de la place, rajoutez-en si besoin à la fin de la découpe).

  8. Coupez les pommes de terre en fines lamelles grâce à un robot si vous avez la chance d'un avoir un, sinon je vous conseille la mandoline. Vous pouvez aussi opter pour la découpe avec un bon couteau bien tranchant (testé), vos lamelles seront alors moins uniformes et moins fines mais ça fonctionne quand même.
  9. ÉTAPE 4
  10. Faites tremper les tranches de pommes dans l'eau au fur et à mesure de la découpe, 15-20 min afin d'enlever l'amidon qui les feraient coller.
  11. ÉTAPE 5
  12. Égouttez-les puis essuyez-les entre deux torchons propres ou du papier absorbant.
  13. ÉTAPE 6
  14. Déposez les lamelles en une seule couche sur une plaque recouverte de papier cuisson. Arrosez les lamelles de quelques gouttes d'huile, saupoudrez de sel, éventuellement de poivre et d'herbes de votre choix.
  15. ÉTAPE 7
  16. Enfournez à 140°c pendant 40 min environ (et retournez à mi-cuisson). Attention, certaines chips peuvent cuire plus vite, surveillez donc la cuisson et retirez celles qui commencent à brunir avant la fin du temps prévu.
  17. ÉTAPE 8
  18. Répétez jusqu'à épuisement des lamelles de pommes de terre.
  19. ÉTAPE 9
  20. A la sortie du four, déposez les chips sur du papier absorbant pour enlever l’excédant de gras.
  21. ÉTAPE 10
  22. Dégustez sans tarder car elles ramollissent avec le temps et ne se conservent donc pas... et oui, c'est du naturel!
